2010 – 2013 · Barcelona
Audio engineering at SAE Barcelona. Mixing desks, signal flow, ears. Still useful every time I build anything that makes sound.
2013 – 2019 · Asia
Six years teaching across Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Australia — over a thousand students, my own practice carried through five countries. Most of what ApeKode builds — yoga, breath, movement apps — comes straight from these years.
2019 – 2023 · Paris
Systems from the ground up, project by project — kernel, raycaster, network stack. The shelf below is my own school work.
A 32-bit kernel from scratch — GRUB boot, memory management, scheduling, syscalls.
Binary exploitation, level by level.
A port scanner rebuilt from raw sockets.
Bash, reimplemented in C.
A Wolfenstein-style raycaster in C.
An IRC server in C++.
Realtime multiplayer pong — the final project.
Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 · Paris
Built large-scale data gathering and real-time monitoring systems — AI early-warning alerts for media, security, logistics and financial clients, including major logistics groups and French emergency and specialized security services. Rewrote critical legacy Nim and Go services into languages the team actually knew.
Feb 2025 – present · Paris
Lead developer, founding hire — brought in by the CTO when the platform ran on one small OVH server with pilot customers. Founded the platform monorepo; built the infrastructure from scratch and still own it — minikube to Terraform to Azure AKS, GitOps via ArgoCD, Keycloak SSO. Rewrote ~70% of an inherited synchronous codebase into event-driven processing on Redis + BullMQ — document runs went from minutes to seconds. Authored the public JS and Python SDKs solo. A trusted AI platform for higher education, used by HEC Paris and École des Ponts Business School.
